Yoga can unlock the deeper creative resources in your life. A reservoir of energy flows within us and may lie untapped in ways that could enhance numerous aspects of the way you live, and even how you feel about life. Creativity can be nurtured, or we can simply get out of the way and let life force move freely and express itself uniquely as it moves through each of us. Both are good approaches.
It doesn't take grand displays or manifestations to live your life with creativity. Just like small acts of kindness, small acts of creativity can inspire a more vitallity creative life. Start small, think big, trust yourself, listen, breathe, be inspired.

We recently had the opportunity to connect with Serge. We last saw one another seventeen years ago when he attended White Lotus Yoga Teacher Training. Serge went on to take board member, David White's, religious studies graduate program at UCSB. Flash forward to celebrate this man who is living a vitally creative life. Serge is a multi-hyphenate and all around, effing talented human. He started a Yoga center in Ojai, designs furniture and environments, DJs, makes fun and fantastic eclectic music, and these are just a few of the talents that Serge shares with the world.
It was so lovely to spend a recent weekend at White Lotus during a personal meditation retreat, sharing memories, and our visions of what makes a creative life. Serge has a new fall album release...

Apricot Stone Fruit Crisp
Hooray! Trees are brimming with summer stone fruits. There are peaches from the south, nectarines and apricots filling fruit stands, and plums and pluots in almost every color of the rainbow. Now is the time for eating fresh fruit off the trees, canning winter jams, and baking summer crumbles, crisps, and pies.
We have had heaping baskets of apricots this year to share with friends and strangers, and served up abundant dessert for deer, skunks, squirrels, and a host of other woodland life as fruit falls from the trees. In a heady summer sugar high...
